Enough of that, and so today's post is completely Concerning The New. Well, for starters, and most importantly, we (The World) shall soon have a new Apprentice winner! Will it be Kendra or Tana? I personally hope it is Kendra for reasons that have occurred in the past, and which, in consequence, I will not utter now. Anywho, also on the upcoming list of my life is none other than HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ooooh, I can hardly wait until July 16th! Now most of you know (or have guessed) that I have been home for quite some time now, however, upon arriving back at my abode I was greeted with a surprising amount of business that simply had to be taken care of. For instance, it was of the utmost importance of mine to get all four foreign and not so foreign versions of the Pippi Longstocking theme, as well as tie up the loose ends of all my other pressing matters. It grieved me to have to be away from all of the anxiously awaiting TRME paparazzi, but sometimes business must take priority. I do hope that you enjoyed my hired replacement while I was gone, and you might have also noticed that here and there I would check in and leave little comments (I'm never far away from an internet connection). Anywho, I'm sure that everyone is dying to get the "inside scoop", if you will, on my long awaited vacation, and my not-so long awaited return. I'm also sure that you want to skip all of the boring, tourist-y things, so I shall skip all of that and get right down to the real stories that I have to share. Where to begin...?

Random Log

Day 1 - I dream of what I shall do in Day 2

Day 2 - I board a small Person Carrier (aka Aircraft) named Air Canada: Jazz. It is much smaller than I thought it would be, and I am slightly frightened when the engine starts and the entire plane vibrates worse than a cheap love bed in Motel 6. The male stewardess is a bit grumpy, and reminds me of the butler on the "Adam's Family". After plane levels off, things are smooth sailing. Spend the rest of the day flying on various other aircrafts.

Day 3 - Took a 3-in-1 tour of San Diego (included harbor, Tijuana, and Old Town). While at Hotel Del, noticed a tea-party, and wanted to join... wasn't allowed. Tour guide reminded me of a more portly Gene Wilder. Ate at a Grotto.

Day 4 - Seaworld. Got soaked in Atlantas. Got soaked in Rapids. Generally got soaked. Saw cool animals.

Day 5 - Went shopping in huge out-door mall. Bought tones of DVDs. Saw a really nice mini-t.v. at "New Styles and Fashions" kiosk...upon closer inspection it wasn't as nice as a T.V. as I had originally thought.

Day 6 - Returned to Old town and learned that back in the day boys were punished harsher if they were playing cards than if they were harassing a girl.

Day 7 - Took Amtrak to Anaheim.

Day 8 - DISNEYLAND!!! (It doesn't need any further description, because you can't perfect perfection itself)

Day 9 - Universal Studios. Horribly scary Van Helsing Walkthrough Set. Good "Mummy" ride. They updated their jokes, improvement.

Day 10 - California Adventure. Love the rides. Cool effect of Whoppi Goldberg's face in one of the interactive theatres.

Day 11 - DISNEYLAND!!!

Day 12 - Six Flags. One of my favorite theme parks in the world. Closes too early. They sell very soft, but expensive socks.

Day 13 - California Adventure. Saw the best play I've ever seen in my life (Aladdin), and was amazed for the rest of the day. Ate a disgustingly messy snowcone.

Day 14 - DISNEYLAND!!!

Day 15 - Return to reality.

END

Well, there you have it, the random highlights of my wonderful vacation. I still can taste the numerous "Strawberries and Cream"'s I engorged upon, mixed with the delightful cinnamon-y taste of churros. Cheers to the end of a marvelous vacation, and to the invention of the Fastpass!

Hold Down The Fortress?

Guest Entry One

This is not your usual host here at TRME but I will try to maintain the integrity of his blog. First I would like to start by writing me own cinquain poem about the macaroni and cheese I'm eating right now.

Vacation

fun time

lots to do

breaks are always nice

Macaroni

So the other day was a window-of-a-look into my day of birth. You see my birthday is on the 11th day of the 4th month but I am busy around then so I celebrated with my friends earlier...or previous to. I will now attempt to put a link to a sound clip on the page even though I don't know what I am doing.

Okay. I don't know what I am doing. I would have sound clips or something as I find them more entertaining than the usual reading (or murarl of words) but alas, alak I know not the way. Maybe I can put up a picture... no I can't seem to do that either. I suck at this. I suck as much as a mongoose trying to beat an otter in a contest to remove the yolk of an egg without blemishing the glassy white casing.

So if I can't post a picture or link to sounds then I'm useless at this form of media entertainment. I would kill myself but I'd probably screw that up too. You see that's the type of joke they would have on corner gas. I'm not a fan. I must admit that every now and again a good joke will be said but most of the time it's kind of predictable. I'm not saying I could do better, and I suppose they do have to appeal to the general public but it's not very...on the edge. Except for the one woman's speech impediment which no one seems to notice save me!

I think I am going to do another post before the leader returns, but it will rock your body! Do you know why? Do you know why? Do you know why? How am I not myself? I'll tell you why! I will get someone to teach me how to do pictures and sound/video links and coolness. I have to go film the mall, so have a fun weekend and say happapril to someone you don't normally talk to!

The Beginning of an Empire

Well, the first step has been taken. Yesterday (or should I say early this morning) while most of you were already tucked away, dreaming of random thoughts (oh how I love it) myself, the CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CFO (Chief Financial Officer), and CRO (Chief Random Officer) of The Random Mind Exchange was busy closing a deal with a major video-producing company. At precisely 1:34 A.M. it had become official that the first TRME movie (or should I say documentary) had been produced. It turns out that buying the formerly known video-producing company "Ryco" was a smart decision that was made here at TRME. We turned the run-down company into a mammoth among video resources, and have already produced our first video "Oh What a World" within 24 hours. Though the video is stocked in limited quantities for now, a mass producing is sure to follow. I'd say this calls for a "Strawberries and Cream" from Starbucks.
...
You're probably thinking that when I usually say something like that, a random picture of it shows up, well I instead I decided to have a link to the page where you can see it, just to spice things up a bit. Here you go: The Best Drink In the Universe

Well, I anticipate you're all wondering what the answer is to the question which was posed on my last post (judging from the tidal wave of incomprehensible amounts of guesses I got flowing from the eager fans just waiting for a slim chance so that maybe they could experience the dream TRME wish), so I guess I'll tell you before the over-anxious fans come to my house and kidnap me so they could be the first to answer it correctly. The answer was that I did not actually visit a site of a close friend of mine. I did visit a site that I was recommended to go to by a random person, but none the less, they were not a close friend. Unfortunately no one answered correctly, so I'll use the wish myself. What to wish for, what to wish for? Oh, I know. I wish for a picture Carolyn Kepcher whose looking like she is in marketing mode, a picture of JK Rowling, looking like she wants to somehow incorporate Carolyn into her next novel, and a picture of a plump looking Peter Jackson smoking a foot-long pipe!

Now that I bet you're all so jealous of my wish, I feel it best to leave you for a while and let you regret how if maybe you would have thought a bit harder, that wish could have been yours. I feel... two to three weeks of torture should be enough. So until next time, always remember, "If you want to be a writer, go be a doctor, but if you want to write, write."
- Robert Jordan

P.S. The two - three weeks of torture has nothing to do with the fact that it will be approximately that long until I return from a wonderful, two-three week vacation from California.

A Literal Taste of Victory

Well, today marks the day that I conquered the recipe of Jell-O 1 2 3. This calls for a picture of what the brilliant concoction looks like, and a picture of the elegant Carmen Sandieago hugging Waldo because they are both so happy that I managed to create this superior perfection (as you can see, it even made it on the news). Rumor has it that they too are addicted to the sweet, forbidden taste of Jell-O 1 2 3 ,though that is one random fact that we may never know the truth to.

I really have nothing else to post about today, however, I know that if I was a true fan of TRME I would expect more than if I was to cut the off the post right now. Hence I will ramble on. Today I experianced many a new thing. Such things included playing instruments called "Boom-Wackers", visiting a site by a close friend of mine, reading a Sonic the Hedgehog comic, spelling random words with my Boggle game, and playing a game of balogna with myself and my viewers. By the way, one of the things that I just said happened to be completely and utterly made up. If you can guess which one it is (leave a comment), then I chall be happy to grant you one TRME wish. Every person gets only one guess, so guess wisely. You'll only have until Saturday to guess, so be steadfast with your thinking, and always remember, Babar is better than Manhunt and The Pacifier put together (though one must also remember that when adding two negatives it only makes it more negative, and zero is still worth more than all the non-positive integers in the world combine).

RANDOM TOP FIVE FIVE LISTS of March, 2005

Aren't Br'er Bear, Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and the entire Br'er Patch wonderful, not matter how much controversy surrounds them?
Anywho, back to business. You see, well, I just finished watching the most abhorrent, appauling, revolting, and nauseating reality show possibly ever created. Although it pains me to mention its name, I will do so out of the strongness of my stomach, to help save you from making the same fatal descision to watch it. I feel no reason to subject you all to the horror of this show, so I will type the name and my comments in white, so that you will have to highlight it to read it. Those who wish to skip this horrible section (and I suggest that you do), please skip to the next paragraph in black. Here it goes:
First of all, the name of the show is Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model. I think that that says it all, but if you truly wish to know more, well, I guess you could go to sites that talk about it, seeing as it technically doesn't have its own site (that says a lot). I don't really know why I watched it, though perhaps because it was between that and Babar, and plus I thought, hey, it's reality, I'll try everything once. Let's just say I wish I would have watched Babar.
Well, now that that's out of my system, I better change the subject or I might die of Tnuhnam-iasm. What to say, what to say? Oh yes, now I remember that I did have something to say in the first place. If anyone who is reading this hasn't read my recent interview on www.kevinrules.blogspot.com, you better do so now, or the Bonnie and Clyde salt and pepper shakers will get you! As you probably already know, Mar-a-lago has nothing to do with this post, however, it is a property owned by Donald Trump.
P.P.P.P.S. http://disneyforever.com

Of Homework and Anticipation

I titled this "Of Homework and Anticipation" because:
1. I am just about to start an endeavor of mindboggling amounts of homework, which, I'm guessing will take approx. three hours of me sitting there wasting valuable time, when instead I could be doing something like reading Robert Jordan, or drinking a Fruizle.
2. I am anticipating many things as of now, some of which consist of:
A) My vacation to California which I leave for in 17 days (let the countdown begin)
B) All of the reality shows beginning anew this week
C) For July 16th when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is released
So I guess all in all, I kind of lead a pretty boring life right now, considering all I do is sit around, waste my time doing homework, and anticipate the things I'm going to do, which in reality won't even happen for while (excluding the reality). I will leave you with one more random thing, though, seeing as this post was pretty boring, and you deserve a more interesting life than what I have at this point in time. Meet the King Pin:

The Beginning of Randomness

Welcome everyone to the first post of "The Random Mind Exchange". Before I start to rant on and on about nonsense let me clue you in to what this is all about. TRME is basically anything I can think about, or what is on my mind (as is the basis for any blog), but if you are one of the unfortunate few to not posses a strong creative stomach (which is a shame)I warn you to stop here, because the fun is about to begin. ***Insert crazy, make you excited type music to the tune of 'This is Halloween' from The Nightmare Before Christmas***

Now that we've weeded out the weak and uninterested I have a confession to make. This blog isn't really as weird as I made it out to be, but still it helped create an illusion of a false sense, which leads people to believe twisted things that you've told them in the first place for them only to later digress and conclude that the actuary statements and sensehood was false, however a post-confrontation proves the formula inept. Wow, was that on purpose? I don't know, but what I do know is that Nintendo is running out of ideas, seeing as one of its best sellers these days is: "Bookworm". Something is wrong when one of the biggest videogame tycoon companies in the world - who market games which feature fire-throwing plumbers, winged turtles, and giant fire-breathing Koopas - starts to sell games (like this) which have been freely available on the internet anyway. Who wants pay $30.00 on a game you can just download for free? Or a better question, who wants to buy a free game that features the main character as a bookwork whose goal is to prevent grammar mistakes? Please, someone better just...ah nevermind. If I sink low enough to let this game effect even one second of my thoughts, something is seriously wrong. Lets move on to a different topic before I feel the urge to pick up this conducting wand beside me and shove it up my harddrive so that not even my computer can remember the word "Bookworm".

Anyway, right now I'm watching American Idol while on my laptop (oh yes, heaven as we know it) and all I can say is that Anthony or Anwar better win. Another thing that must be made known is that after American Idol it is the premier for The Amazing Race. YAY! More reality!Even though this won't have a Charla and Mirna (how great was that team), I still think that this one will be more interesting because of the entire Rob and Amber thing. I hope that they don't get out until the very end for two reasons:
1. I would like to see the reaction of the public if they kept on winning.
2. If they get out early, I will have to admit that the Amazing Race is fixed because the are a strong team and I would be extremely ticked off if they would just use it as a promo to hook people in to the wonderful world of reality (though some of us already are).
Other reality shows I watch:
- American Idol
- Survivor
- The Swan
- Canadian Idol
- Joe Schmo
- Fear Factor
- Amazing Race
- and, get ready for it (I saved the best for last) ............................. THE APPRENTICE
I would comment on how indescribable overwhelmingly awe-inspiring this show is, but the Amazing Race just started and I got to go. Cya later.

*Note: The original "Welcome" post has received an entirely new look. This is not the original, but I find it more suiting to the context of TRME**
